Legal Advisor - Real Estate

Sofia, Bulgaria

We are starting new real estate projects and we need an experienced Legal Advisor to join our team in Sofia to ensure all legal aspects of real estate transactions: from site due diligence to mortgage advice to construction documentation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting laws, rulings and regulations to assist management in the decision-making process for real estate, construction and corporate affairs of the organisation and it subsidiaries;
  • Managing the legal process and due diligence for real estate acquisitions and other transactions, incl. but not limited to: investigating property history and zoning laws; assessing construction documentation; advising on mortgage concerns; drafting and reviewing transactional documentation, etc.;
  • Handling the legal process with respect to lease relationships;
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating different types of agreements; preparing statements, reports, internal policies, procedures, etc.;
  • Providing primary support in relation to administrative matters pertinent to the legal side;
  • Identifying compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation;
  • Continuously monitoring compliance with statutory obligations and advising management accordingly;
  • Responding to ad hoc queries to include identification, analysis, and evaluation of risks in order to provide appropriate legal solutions;

Your Responsibilities:
